Position (August 23, 2017 till date)

Currently working as a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Haj Committee of India on Deputation to Central Government from Govt. of Maharashtra.

As a CEO, shouldering the responsibility of the entire management of Haj visits of the pilgrims of India throughout the year and its other related aspect.

Facilitate the upliftment of the community by social awareness programs, providing special residential coaching for UPSC/MPSC for the young deserving population of the community, currently 110 students residential program is on.

Position (May10, 2013 to August 22, 2017)

As Registrar of one of the most prestigious and renowned Educational establishments in the country, the University of Mumbai, I have been extremely fortunate to be in the seat that has given me ample opportunities to serve the region, it’s citizenry, officials, well Wishers and most importantly, the enthusiastic community of youth who shall surely go on to define the horizon of our Nation.

Close to 7,50,000 students are serviced by me as the chief custodian of this Institution under the guidance of the Hon. Chancellor, the Hon. Vice-Chancellor and all my distinguished colleagues from the academia fraternity.

The salient progressions made at The University of Mumbai during my incumbency in the seat of the Registrar include inter alia :-

1. The restoration and beautification of the iconic Rajabai Clock tower which is a peerless edifice in the Landscape of our city;
2. The restoration, weather conditioning and upkeep of another landmark of south Mumbai, the Sir Cowasji Jehangir Position (August 23, 2017 till date) Position (May10, 2013 to August 22, 2017) Convocation Hall;
3. Successful conduct of the immensely important 102nd Indian Science Congress which was inaugurated by the Hon. Prime Minister of India and was embellished by the presence of Ministers, Bureaucrats, Teaching Faculties, Scientists, Researchers, Students and close to 1,00,000 visitors visited over the 5
4. The successful launch and run of the University of Mumbai’s Ratnagiri campus, Thane Campus, National Law School and also the soon to be functional Kalyan Campus
5. Many new initiatives especially those leading to digitization and cyber networking of education processes have been included and launched in this tenure which were much appreciated and praised by the various stake holders
6. Several Collaborations for improvement of quality including Indian Railway’s for establishing Railway Research Center.
7. Receiving 14 acre land as free donation at Ambadwe , Mandangad and starting Model College at the birth place of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar and also receiving 4 acre land as free donation at Tarele, Sindhadurgh and starting Model College there too;
8. Monitoring the huge infrastructural growth including Construction of World Class Virtual Class room, Auditoriums, Multipurpose Theater, Nano-technology labs, etc. at Kalina Campus;
9. Autonomy as a way to better the dispensation of Academics has been initiated and practiced. Many popular places of Studies like the JBIMS, Welingkar, KJ Somaiya, etc. have been afforded the luxury of Autonomy.
